1 - Who are you?
Aurora Video was founded in 2004 by award winning film maker Richard Shelton. Richard studied film and television production in the 1990 and after a career in the catering side of the wedding trade, switched to producing wedding videos at the start of the millennium. Initially these were made for family and friends before Aurora was launched onto the wider market.
2 - Why Aurora?
Aurora is a young, vibrant and exciting wedding DVD production company. We are not run by near retired ‘professionals’ who have been in the business for 25 years and are still using the same techniques now as they were in 1981! We use bold camera techniques and editing giving a contemporary look to our DVDs. Of course we still offer the traditionally filmed package. The choice is of course yours! 3 - What equipment do you use?
We use Sony broadcast quality cameras, radio microphones for the service and speeches and we even have a Steadicam stabilising unit for ultra smooth panning and tracking shots.
4 - How much do you charge?

5 - What area do you cover?
The majority of our clients come from South East Wales. However we have travelled into the West of England as well as South West Wales.
6 - How far ahead do you accept a booking?
Generally we take bookings up to two years in advance.
7 - Can I have a copy on VHS?
We can provide copies on VHS for an extra fee. However these will lack menus and chapter selection points.
8 - When do you start filming?
All our packages include the Groom and guests arriving at the church or ceremony venue. For this we like to precede the service by at least 1 hour.
9 - When do you stop?
This is totally dependent on your chosen package. Generally we stay right through until the speeches and the cutting of the cake. We can also stay for the 1st dance of the evening or even stick around for the whole evening to interview your guests and to capture drunken dances on the dance floor! 10 - Can I choose the music?
Yes we would prefer that you did!
11 - Are you insured?
Yes, Aurora Video and it’s staff are covered with Public liability insurance as well as Indemnity insurance; in case something disastrous happens to our cameras or equipment after the wedding.
12 - Can you make sure it doesn’t rain?
We’d love to be able to control the weather but alas we can’t. In the event of a heavy downpour we’ll capture all the necessary group shots inside your reception venue.

Interviews
For this, we'll conduct interviews with you, your family and any of your close friends that you'd like interviewed. These will then be edited into the DVD at various points to create a unique narrative of your story - How you met, how he proposed etc. Your family and friends will also have the chance to give their feelings and thoughts throughout the day. Don't worry though, it's nothing formal we promise - Just a quick 'chat' to our cameraman!

Brides home
Capturing the start of the day. This could include , Hair & Beauty preparation, flowers arriving, details of the dress and bridesmaids dresses, bridesmaids preparation, wedding cards, presents, and Capturing the start of the day. Grooms home
We can capture the Groom getting prepared with lots of shots and sequences that the bride will never see, unless we capture it. This could include the Best man cooking breakfast, The Groom, best man and ushers getting ready, or maybe the guys out on the golf course, or a quick drink down the pub to steady those nerves!

Days gone by
Photographs or pictures of the happy couple from birth to just before they met. Then pictures of the times they have spent together up until their wedding day. All accompanied to music of your choosing.

Optional Extra - Additional DVD copies
Additional copies of the DVD can be produced - You don't want the grandparents or aunty missing out on a copy!

End Credits
A full ‘cast list’ can be produced of the wedding party or of all of the guests present at your wedding! This will be displayed over your choice of music at the end of the DVD. The credit list should be provided to us in advance of your wedding day.

Music Video (sing-a-long a wedding!)
Have you got a favourite song that everyone likes to sing-a-long to? It could be Don't Look Back inAnger, Bohemian Rhapsody or even Prodigy's Firestarter! We'll set a microphone, set up the background music and even help with the lyrics. All your guests have to do is sing-a-long to the words and once edited, you've got your very own music video. It's a simple but brilliant way of injecting a bit humour onto your wedding and your guests will love it!
